Erin Dobinson is an experienced paediatric dietitian with 20 years of experience at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. Throughout her career, she has worked across a broad range of paediatric specialties, supporting infants, children and adolescents with both complex medical conditions and everyday nutrition and feeding concerns.
She holds a Bachelor of Health in Nutrition and Dietetics from QUT, a Certificate in Paediatric Dietetics from The Royal Children’s Hospital and is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD).
With particular interest in paediatric gastrointestinal nutrition, Erin supports children and adolescents with gastrointestinal conditions such as Coeliac disease, IBD, FODMAPs, EoE, food allergies and intolerances, growth concerns, nutritional deficiencies and fussy or selective eating. She has worked closely with families to translate evidence-based nutrition advice into practical strategies that work at home.
Erin is passionate about nutrition throughout childhood, from infancy through to adolescence. Her approach is warm, thoughtful and collaborative, taking the time to understand each child and family and providing individualized advice that is both achievable and sustainable.
As a mother of three rapidly growing children, Erin also understands first-hand that feeding a family doesn’t always follow the textbook. She brings this perspective to her practice, combining extensive clinical expertise with practical, realistic advice for everyday family life.
