TTom is a Paediatric Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist based at The Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. Tom graduated with a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Melbourne and completed specialist training in Paediatric Gastroenterology at the Royal Children’s Hospital. He undertook additional sub-specialty training in Paediatric Hepatology at King’s College Hospital in London, United Kingdom, and holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Melbourne. Tom is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) and a member of the Gastroenterological Society of Australia (GESA). He is experienced in managing a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal conditions in infants, children and adolescents, including abdominal pain, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease, coeliac disease and pancreatic disorders, and has a special interest in liver disease in children.
